Armitage Award Honorees

The Arthur E. Armitage, Sr. Distinguished Alumni Award is entering its 27th year. The purpose of this award is to honor a School of Law-Camden graduate who has made significant contributions to his or her profession, whether or not it is the legal profession. Nominees should be highly regarded, active in civic or professional programs and be trusted with some responsible position. Past recipients include: William T. Cahill, Sr., '37, and James J. Florio, '67, former Governors of New Jersey, George F. Kugler, Jr., '53, former Attorney General of New Jersey, Ellen M. Kirsh '75, former General Counsel to AOL, Kathryn Flicker '70, former Director of the NJ Division of Criminal Justice, Carl D. Poplar '67, noted civil and criminal trial attorney, and Amelia H. Boss '75, law professor and internationally acclaimed expert on electronic commerce.
