Office Hours Monday 2-3:30; Thursday 5:30-6; by appointment Biography Victoria Chase serves as the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and teaches the Domestic Violence Clinic. She also has taught courses in Evidence, Disability Law and Professional Responsibility. Before joining the Rutgers faculty, Victoria was Executive Director of the Legal Clinic for the Disabled, a public interest nonprofit law firm providing legal services to people with disabilities. Victoria's diverse employment history includes stints as a commercial litigator with Manko, Gold, Katcher and Fox, LLP and as an Honors Attorney with the U.S. Department of Transportation. She is experienced in disability law, transportation law, environmental law and toxic torts, family law and protection from abuse, public benefits, special education, and consumer protection. She graduated cum laude from Rutgers School of Law-Camden in 1998. As a student, she served as Director of the Community Dispute Resolution Committee, a volunteer organization providing mediation services to the Camden County courts. Prior to attending law school, Victoria attended graduate courses in Religion at Florida State University where she was a teaching assistant for several undergraduate religion courses. She received her Bachelor of Arts from the College of William and Mary in 1991. In 2004, the Philadelphia Business Journal named Victoria to the "40 under 40" recognizing her as one of the region's top young professionals. |
