Biography

Camille Andrews is an Associate Dean at Rutgers School of Law-Camden. In addition to teaching Antitrust, Evidence, Complex Litigation, Professional Responsibility, Sports Law and Entertainment Law Drafting, she is in charge of enrollment and special legal programs. She serves as a faculty advisor to the Rutgers Law Journal and is a Member of the Admissions Committee. Since 2010, her Department has assumed responsibility for scholarships and residency.

Prior to joining the law school, Camille Andrews was a Corporate Litigation partner with the Dilworth Paxson law firm in its Philadelphia office, specializing in derivative shareholder litigation, corporate counseling of special litigation committees, antitrust, trademark law, and other complex commercial litigation matters.

Admitted to practice in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and before the United States Supreme Court, she received her B.A., magna cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, where she completed a four-year program in three years. Camille Andrews graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where she was a member of the Law Journal and National Moot Court Team, and the law school's Stratton Moot Court Competition (1st place and best brief).

Camille Andrews is very active with continuing legal education. She regularly lectures and has published for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education on a variety of topics, including sexual discrimination, ethics, Americans with Disabilities Act, sports law, and rainmaking. She has also published and lectured for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute on Securities Litigation and RICO, as well as conducted PBI Seminars on Ethics and the Media and Ethics and Third-Party Litigation Funding. In 1999, Camille Andrews was awarded the Distinguished Service Award for Excellence in Continuing Legal Education by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education.

Camille Andrews is a member of the American Bar Association: Antitrust, Litigation, and Legal Education and Administration section. She served as Co-Chair of the American Bar Association's Law School Administration Committee in 2002.

Associate Dean Andrews is committed to serving the Camden Community. She previously served on the Board of LEAP Charter School and hte New Jersey Cares Board. She currently serves a a member of numerous non-profit Boards of Directors.

Assoc. Dean Andrews is married to Congressman Rob Andrews, and they have two daughters, Jackie and Josie. The Andrews reside in Haddon Heights, NJ.
