Legge is the Director of the Judicial Externship Program at Rutgers School of Law - Camden. She also serves as a career law clerk to the Honorable Joseph H. Rodriguez in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. Professor Legge joined the Rutgers faculty in 2000, teaching the first-year legal research and writing curriculum as well as the Judicial Externship Seminar, and she has since presented nationally on legal writing and clinical education. She also has taught Advanced Brief Writing at Rutgers and has coached the Rutgers team for the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition. For the 2006-07 academic year, Professor Legge served as an inaugural faculty member of Drexel University's College of Law. As a Visiting Professor there, she taught Civil Procedure I and II, as well as Interviewing, Counseling, and Negotiation. Admitted to the bar in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and before the United States Supreme Court, she previously practiced commercial litigation as an associate attorney in Philadelphia and as a freelance brief-writer in both Philadelphia and South Jersey. Professor Legge received her B.A. from Rutgers College and graduated with honors from Rutgers School of Law-Camden, where she was a Dean's Scholar, a member of the National Criminal Procedure Moot Court Team, a teaching and research assistant, and the President of her class.
