    This course examines the evolution of principles of corporate governance in the context of globalized business. Topics include public international law governing shareholder rights and investment, legal and regulatory issues relating to competition law and corporate fraud, global standards of accounting and financial reporting, and the influence of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and the OECD Anti-Bribery Convention. In addition to understanding the legal issues and principles, students will gain an understanding of the various social and economic realities in which business decisions are made.
