Combines the substantive law of medical malpractice with comparisons to other related tort concepts and causes of action. In addition to the standard tort elements, the course covers defenses, increased risk/lost chance causation, informed consent/refusal, negligence vs. battery, statutes of limitations, agency, medical records, and the use of experts.
