This seminar will explore the historical development and current status of the corporation as a
fictitious but legal person embodied with rights and privileges granted by federal and state law,
with special emphasis on the rights and privileges granted to corporations by the U.S.
Constitution. Particular emphasis will be placed on corporate First, Fourth and Fifth Amendment
rights and cases such as Citizens United v. Federal Election Commission and FCC v. AT&T, Inc.
