Students receive 2 graded credits in the Fall and it satisfies the skills course requirement.
2013-14 Exclusion: no one who has taken Intramural Mock Trial Team may take Trial Ad this
year.
Beginning Fall 2014, the exclusion goes away, and Trial Ad is a pre-or co-req. for participation
in the IMTT program.
The Intramural Mock Trial Team is open to all 1Ls and 2Ls by audition which takes place
in the spring. There are no prerequisites for this program. Students accepted for participation in
the fall intramural competition will be assigned mentors to assist them in preparation for the fall
competition. The competition will be conducted in the fall in three separate rounds and students
will be scored on an individual and team basis. The highest scoring students may be offered
positions on Rutgers Trial Advocacy Competition Team which competes regionally against other
law schools.
