The 2013 Rutgers Law Class Day Celebration is Wednesday, May 22, 2013.

Instructions for Graduating Seniors for Class Day
Reception
Professional attire is requested. Regalia will only be worn at Graduation.

Graduates should attend the reception with family and friends at 5:00 pm. When you arrive at the reception, please check in at the table on Second Floor East, by the Clark Commons on the Law Bridge. Most certificates will be distributed when you check in. If you are receiving a pro bono award, also check in with Pam Mertsock-Wolfe, at the same table. Individual awards will be distributed on stage.

Ceremony
At 5:45 pm, families and friends will go to the Gordon Theatre. All seniors should remain in the Law Bridge to get ready to walk together to the Gordon Theatre. Some award recipients will be recognized on stage at the Gordon Theatre, while others, especially members of larger groups, will be recognized at their seats. Individual award winners will have photos taken on stage at the ceremony.

Individual Award recipients -- Going on and off the stage:

Please listen carefully to the announcers and presenters, and follow the order of awards on the Class Day booklet. Members of groups will be asked to stand at their seats for applause. Individual award recipients will be invited on stage. Please follow the program and be aware of the person that precedes you. Those who will be recognized on stage should move to the bottom of the steps to the right of the audience during the presentation of the immediately preceding award. Go up on the stage as your name is called. Pose for a photo with the presenter and the Dean. Exit by using the steps on the opposite side of the stage.

Schedule of Events

5:00 pm: Reception on the Clark Commons on the Law Bridge. Friends and families welcome. No RSVP necessary.
5:45 pm: Friends and families proceed to the Gordon Theater
6:00 pm: Students march in and ceremony begins at the Gordon Theatre

Parking

Parking will be available in Lot 14 by the Gym (Third and Pearl Streets). No parking passes will be necessary that evening.
