2012 Nomination Form
Nominations and supporting materials are due no later than noon on Wednesday September 12, 2012.
Nominees must be members of the graduating classes of 2012 or 2013. Supplementing this nomination form with a resume, a letter of recommendation by a nominator, and a personal statement by the nominee will enhance the likelihood of selection. Please direct the nominee to submit supporting materials to Pam Mertsock-Wolfe (pmertsoc@camden.rutgers.edu) Student Public Interest Awards recognize members of the third year class and those who have just graduated for exceptional contributions to the public interest during their years in law school. The qualities considered for these awards are: outstanding public service and public interest contributions, either in community organization or in the Rutgers community, particularly contributions related to law, justice, and the legal system; a continuous dedication to public interest that goes above and beyond that of most law students, and a minimum G.P.A. of 2.5. Note that public service and public interest contributions can be made as a community volunteer, on a pro bono basis, in the context of law school course work, or during summer or part-time employment.
