Professor Vildostegui joined the faculty in the fall of 2008, after having been a Visiting Assistant Professor at Rutgers for the previous three semesters. He received a B.A. in Philosophy from Yale College and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where he was Editor-in-Chief of Vol. 109 of the Yale Law Journal. He is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Philosophy at the University of California, Berkeley, and is writing a dissertation on the relationship between history and morality. His areas of interest include moral and political philosophy, public international law, jurisprudence, constitutional law, and the history of philosophy. In the 2012-13 year, Professor Vildostegui will teach Law, Justice, and Society; Constitutional Theory; and Constitutional Law. |
