To afford all admitted first year law students a small class experience in one of their core subjects their first semester, Rutgers Law School is delighted to announce the continuation of the Jump Start Summer Class.

This year's class will include three summer classes (you will only be able to register for one summer class).

Starting Tuesday, May 31st- -Mid July:
CONTRACTS Section 1 -Prof. Korobkin, MTWTh 10:00-11:50 AM

Starting June 20-August 8:
CONTRACTS Section 2 -Prof. Hyland, MTWTh 4:00-5:50 PM
CONTRACTS Section 3- Prof. Patterson, MTWTh 5:00-6:50 PM

The benefits of the program include learning Contracts in a smaller class environment with real lawyering assignments, individual feedback, as well as traditional classroom discussion. Then, rather than taking 14 credits in the Fall, you will only have to take 10 credits in the Fall. Students have more time to accumulate themselves to the vigor of law school. Many of our current top law students availed themselves of this opportunity; and Jump Start students tend to have higher academic records. Click for summer class testimonials.

SUMMER HOUSING

FINANCIAL AID

Although, the tuition is slightly higher for the summer session, (estimated 2011 rates for in-state students the difference is $1,862 and for out of state students the difference is $2,242) if you spread out your classes over summer and fall, Financial Aid is available for the summer months and your fall Financial Aid is just prorated.
