Join the Rutgers School of Law–Camden for a “Conversation with Brigadier General Flora D. Darpino” Wednesday, April 17, 5 p.m. in the faculty lounge, located on the fourth floor.
Brigadier General Darpino CLAW’86 serves as commander of the U.S. Army Legal Services Agency and chief judge of the U.S. Army Court of Criminal Appeals. A leader in the Army’s Rule of Law efforts in Iraq, she has served in combat and as the senior military attorney during the rebuilding efforts. After receiving a direct commission into the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps in 1987, she has held a variety of positions, including most recently completing an assignment as staff judge advocate, Unites States Forces – Iraq, in Baghdad.
She will be introduced by Colonel (R) Stephen G. Abel, U.S. Army, Rutgers Director of Veteran and Military Programs and Services, who will serve as the event’s moderator.
