Our students are accomplished, active and collegial. They come from across the region, nation, and world, joining the Law School from over 225 colleges and universities in thirty states, the District of Columbia, and four foreign countries. The student body numbers more than 700, with about 175 students in each full-time entering class and the remainder in an accommodating part-time program. In addition to their studies, which cover traditional as well as cutting-edge legal topics in lectures and seminars, our students are engaged outside of the classroom. They typically serve on one of the Law School’s three respected journals – the flagship Rutgers Law Journal, the Rutgers Journal of Law and Religion, or the Rutgers Journal of Law and Public Policy – and pursue any number of law-related extracurricular activities and externships. Upon graduation, our students achieve excellent bar passage rates and find employment throughout the nation, often choosing to settle in the Philadelphia region, the nation’s fifth largest legal job market. The Rutgers School of Law—Camden is a welcoming and rewarding place to begin a career in the law.
