- The Honorable Marjorie Rendell on Thursday, May 17, 2007, will deliver the keynote address during the Rutgers University School of Law at Camden graduation exercises at 1 p.m. A judge of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit, she is the chair of the U.S. Judicial Conference Committee on the Administration of the Bankruptcy System and also serves on several Third Circuit committees. As Pennsylvania's First Lady, Rendell promotes the Keystone State's rich history and seeks to impart civic responsibility to the state's children through citizenship and civic learning. She is the wife of Pennsylvania Gov. Edward G. Rendell.

- BLSA Scholarship Dinner is going to be on Friday, April 20th at 7pm
at Maggiano's Restaurant in Philadelphia, PA [12th & Filbert Sts].
- BARBRI BOOK DISTRIBUTION FOR NEW YORK/PENNSYLVANIA/NEW JERSEY STUDENTS
There will be a book distribution for those students who are registered for the New York bar and
are up to date on their payments. The distribution will be held at the University of Pennsylvania
Law School in "The Goat" room on Monday April 16, from 12-3.
There will be a book distribution for students taking the PA/NJ bar and who are current with their
tution accounts on April 19th from 11:00-6:00 in the campus center multi-purpose room. Any
student who is not available to pick up their books must make arrangements to have someone
else pick up their books, stop by the Philadelphia office, or have books shipped at a $50 fee.

- Law Journals Competitions (Mandatory Informational Meetings), Wednesday, April 18,
12:30 and 5:30, Room 207.
This is a mandatory meeting
for all students who wish to compete for Rutgers Law Journal, Journal of Law and Public Policy,
and/or the Journal of Law and Religion. Format, requirements, and competition information will be
discussed. Law Journal membership is a valuable and important experience that will assist you in
your career objectives and throughout your legal profession. The competitions are open to all law
students who will have completed at least 24 credit hours by June of 2007 or will have completed
30 hours as of August of 2007. If you will graduate in May of 2008, you are not eligible for this
competition.
