Construction Activity Report 1/26/07

To: The Law School Community

We have been informed by the general contractor that tomorrow, January 27th, there will be intermittent drilling in the brick and concrete on the outside of our building. This is the preparation work for the steel that was put off two weeks ago to try to minimize disruptions. It has to be done tomorrow between 7 and 3:00pm. We have notified those who have scheduled events in the building, and if you have not been notified of any change, you should plan on coming to the Law School as scheduled.

I apologize for any inconvenience, but hope you all share in the pleasure of seeing the building's progress. If you want to learn more about the new building and our plans please attend the open forum with me on Wednesday, January 31st. at 12:30 pm in Room 106.

We will also continue to send out updates on future disruptions, and are launching a blog in the next two weeks that will have information on the building's progress.
