Construction Activity Report 4/05/07

To: The Law School Community

I regret to report what many of you have already discovered: the contractors finally revealed to us that they have not yet completed the drilling for attaching the steel to the new building. They now say that there will be intermittent drilling over the next 10 days. The contractor also told us that over the next month there will also be occasional noisy disruptions as they replace the old curtain wall on the east side on floors 4-6. When we receive the more detailed schedule we will let you know what it is.

I apologize for having to reverse what I had already reported, and we are trying to take steps to try to ensure that the contractors and the subcontractors give us more accurate information.
