Construction Activity Report 5/31/07

Re: Access to the campus from 5th Street underneath the law library bride is blocked off.

Bernie from Facilities has sent the notice to Mike Sepanic (Campus Communication) for posting. The estimate period of inaccessibility to underneath the law library bridge is up to next Friday, due to the needed repair/replacement of the broken MTW pipe lines. Bernie is going to have more appropriate signage put out there tomorrow for detour to the Law School entrance from 5th street entrance.

To the Campus Community:

Underground heating lines located near the Robeson Library and the Law School Building will be replaced this week. As a result, pedestrian access along the corridor between Fifth Street and the Campus Center, crossing beneath the Law Library bridge and near the 401 Penn Street classroom, will occasionally be restricted. Signage for alternate routes will be posted.

Thank you for your patience as these necessary repairs to the campus infrastructure are implemented.
