Construction Activity Report 6/28/07

I have been informed that we will have a temporary pedestrian pathway to access the currently blocked entrance from the 5th street to the law School and the Library building compound by next Monday. The construction work in that area, which involves both projects, the campus project of replacing underground pipes and the Law School addition work in the front area, will continue for the next month or so. This temporary walkway will give us the access to the compound and entrance to the Law School building from the 5th street in the meantime.

Please note that during the construction period, this walkway is subject to close and open for short periods anytime whenever construction work needs full access of that area and it raises the public safety issues. This short term closings of walkway may occur without giving timely notices. During those times, we are advised to use the same detour to enter the Law School from the 5th street (from the Armitage building access) that we use now.

Thank you for understanding and being patient during this inconvenience but important parts of construction phases.
