Construction Activity Report  7/27/06

Commencing tomorrow, the demolition sub-contractor will be removing the exterior steel girder on the east face of the law library bridge. For safety reasons, the passage beneath the bridge must be closed tomorrow while the two north portions of the girder are removed.

Detour signs will be posted directing everyone to use the passageway beneath the Armitage Hall bridge to enter the campus. Access to the law school will be by passing the Robeson Library along Fourth Street and then turning left onto Penn Street to reach the Courtyard entrance.

The library bridge access point is expected to be re-opened on Monday while demolition work continues on the south portions of the steel girder.
