1. Course Load. No minimum course load is required. The maximum course load is eleven (11) credits, with enrollment in no more than eight (8) credits at one time for full-time students. Students employed more than fifteen (15) hours per week during a summer term may take no more than five (5) credit hours at one time. If you register for more than five (5) credit hours at one time, you must complete the online Employment Certification not later than Friday, May 5, 2012 for Intensive Session A, and Friday, May 25 for other sessions. Students visiting from other law schools must print out from the Summer Session website the Employment Certification and return it to the Registrar, Assistant Dean Ed Rentezelas.
2. Writing Credit. (Rutgers Students Only) A maximum of one writing credit earned per summer session may be counted toward the 3 writing credits needed for graduation. Writing credits earned in the Summer Session are NOT included in the academic-year limit for writing credits; that is, if you take one writing credits in the summer, you may take 2 other writing credits during the following academic year.
3. Grades. The following grades are used in the Rutgers School of Law-Camden Summer Session: A+, A Outstanding; A-, B+, B Good; B-, C+, C Satisfactory; C-, D+, D Poor; F Failure.
